CHANNEL 4 WORK EXPERIENCE

We are looking for passionate people to come and join us at Channel 4 from the 15th-16th April . This opportunity is completely entry level, so we want people who have had no or very little experience in the media industry. The experience will be based in our London office and won't cost you a penny as we will cover your travel, accommodation (if you are based outside of London) as well as all food costs for the days you are with us. Please note you must be 16+ to apply for this opportunity. If you are 16 years old and from outside of London, therefore require a hotel, you MUST be accompanied by an adult for your 2 days in London if your application is successful.

 

You will be spending 2 days with us in 4Talent learning all about the different kinds of jobs in TV,  tips to kick starting your career in television, and help on developing those all-important employability skills! You will also get to hear from other departments at Channel 4, and find out all about what they do. This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to work in TV but is not exactly sure what they want to do yet, and needs a little help with getting things started! If you think this is what you’re after then check out an example schedule below of what the days could look like for you if you are successful.

Day 1: Enjoy your first day with us at 4Talent introducing you to Channel 4 and hearing from some C4 departments!

Day 2: More time with C4 departments, hearing about the different types of roles in TV and getting some tips from industry experts. Ending the day with some final advice on getting a job in TV!

 

SELECTION PROCESS

We only have 20 Work Experience places available and will be selecting people based on your answers to the questions set.

We don’t conduct interviews to gain a place on our Work Experience scheme so if you are offered a place we’ll contact you via email by 29th March.

If you do not hear anything on this date, please assume that your application has been unsuccessful. Due to the high response expected for this opportunity, we will not be able to provide feedback on applications.

If you are not available for the 15th & 16th April please wait to apply for a future placement in 2019. Applications cannot be deferred.
